This is a project of flue gas cleaning system in a steel mill at Tangshan. We participates in the original flushing slag ditch waste steam treatment of No. 4 blast furnace, treatment of about 300,000 m³/h of exhaust, water collection 3-10t/h, exhaust temperature 90℃, the original heat exchange tube is ND steel, after 1 year of use, ND steel pipe and tube plate corrosion is serious.

About processing

In view of the strong corrosion characteristics of blast furnace slag exhaust steam, Ruichang Company replaced the original ND steel heat exchanger with a REGLASS® glass plate heat exchanger with excellent corrosion resistance and not easy to accumulate ash and clog, which solved the corrosion and clog problems under harsh working conditions and extended the service life of the heat exchanger. Ruichang REGLASS industrial plume phase change condensation treatment technology is adopted. After condensation and dehydration, the flue gas is mixed with heated air and dried to achieve the effect of eliminating colored smoke plume.

The core equipment of the project is a patented product independently developed by Luoyang Ruichang Environmental Engineering Co., LTD. The special glass tube is applied in the heat exchanger equipment as the main heat transfer material, and the heat exchanger can be large-scale and successfully realize industrial applications.

Technical features and advantages

Dehumidification: using ambient air to cool the flue gas and reduce the water content of the flue gas.

Heating: The heat carried by the flue gas itself heats the ambient air while being cooled by the ambient air, creating a high temperature environment.

Drying: Through the high temperature ambient air to dry the flue gas, greatly reduce the saturation of the flue gas, eliminate the chimney exit plume.

No additional cooling source is consumed: No matter what method is used for flue gas cooling, whether it is contact or non-contact water cooling, or natural cooling, heat will eventually be released to the atmosphere, and we directly use air for wall cooling, reducing energy consumption and improving cooling efficiency.

No additional heat source consumed: the flue gas heats the ambient air and in turn adds dry flue gas to reduce the saturation of the flue gas and eliminate the white smoke without consuming additional heat source.

Condensation dust removal: When the flue gas condenses, it needs a condensation core, and the dust in the flue gas is just as the condensation core of the condensate, promoting the generation of droplets, and the droplets are also the carrier of dust, and the droplets and dust precipitation at the same time, complementing each other.
