Note: Experience sharing from professional environmental protection equipment manufacturers
Today, as industrial energy conservation and emission reduction are becoming increasingly rigid indicators, customized low NOx combustion solutions have become the “core configuration” for many factory projects to meet standards. As a professional low-nox burner manufacturer, Ruichang is well aware that each customer’s working conditions are different. Only by truly understanding the needs and accurately matching the system can we ensure a “win-win” situation of low emissions and high efficiency.

How do we help customers customize Low NOx burners? Please learn about our professional processes and service system together.
1. Comprehensive working condition investigation: Find the root cause of “high emissions”
The first step of each project is to arrange a technical team to deeply understand the actual application environment of the customer, including:
- Furnace type: boiler, heating furnace, rotary kiln, cracking furnace, incinerator, etc.;
- Fuel type: natural gas, light oil, heavy oil, biomass gas, mixed fuel, etc.;
- Thermal power range: from tens of kilowatts to hundreds of megawatts;
- Current NOx emissions and monitoring data;
- Furnace structure, flue layout, induced draft system parameters;
- Environmental protection requirements in the area where the enterprise is located (such as 30mg/m³ or 50mg/m³);
- Other requirements for energy saving, load regulation, remote control, etc.
Through these detailed investigations, we can determine whether there are problems such as overfire, excess air, incomplete combustion, etc. in the existing equipment, laying the foundation for customizing low-nitrogen technical paths.

2. Low NOx control strategy design: Select the most appropriate technical path
After clarifying the needs, we will design the optimal low-nitrogen combustion strategy based on the customer’s operating conditions. Common technical paths include:
| Control Strategy | Applicable Conditions | Typical Features |
| Staged Combustion | High-temperature boilers, kilns | Air is supplied in stages to lower peak temperatures and suppress thermal NOx formation. |
| Flue Gas Recirculation (FGR) | Natural gas boilers | Lowers flame core temperature and dilutes O₂ concentration. |
| Premixed Combustion | Small boilers, laboratory furnaces | Pre-mixes gas and air to improve combustion efficiency and burnout rate. |
| Pulse Combustion | Devices requiring efficient regulation | Controls combustion rhythm to reduce instantaneous temperature. |
| Low Excess Air | Various furnace types | Provides precise oxygen supply to reduce excessive reactions. |
In many complex applications, we will use a combination of multiple technologies, such as the “FGR+premixing+staged combustion” combination, to make emission control more precise.

3. Burner structure and system customization: not just a little change, but tailor-made
In order to ensure that the design matches the actual situation perfectly, we will carry out modular and personalized design for the following dimensions:
Burner body structure
- Nozzle diameter, nozzle angle, number of graded air ducts;
- Composite air supply (main air/combustion air/cooling air) layout;
- High temperature material selection (temperature resistance 1200℃~1600℃);
- Flame shape and furnace matching optimization;
Air/gas supply system
- Fan selection, frequency conversion regulation, gas control valve group;
- Air flow regulation accuracy control (±1%);
- Full premix ratio regulation system;
- FGR pipeline design with bypass;
Control system configuration
- PLC automatic adjustment + remote monitoring;
- Online monitoring of oxygen content, temperature, and NOx concentration;
- Flame detection and abnormal flameout alarm system;
- Can be integrated into the customer’s DCS system or controlled independently;
The dimensions, interfaces, electronic control logic, pipeline layout, and operation logic of all equipment are confirmed based on one-to-one drawings of the customer’s project, achieving truly “customized” delivery.

4. Simulation + Testing + Debugging: Ensure that delivery is equal to compliance
We adhere to the principle of “delivery is compliance” and conduct the following tests and verifications on each low NOx burner system:
Numerical simulation verification
The combustion process is simulated by CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software to ensure uniform flame distribution and controlled NOx generation;
Factory assembly and ignition test
Each device is ignited with load before leaving the factory, and key parameters such as NOx emission value, temperature rise curve, and air supply stability are measured.
On-site debugging and training
Experienced engineers go to the customer site to provide system installation guidance, trial operation debugging, compliance detection assistance, and provide customer operation training.

5. Continuous service guarantee: not only delivery, but also operation and profit guarantee
We not only make equipment, but also pay attention to the “life cycle value” of equipment in customer factories:
- Provide 1~3 years warranty and long-term spare parts support;
- Support annual inspection and secondary optimization services;
- Help customers analyze energy consumption data and provide energy-saving upgrade suggestions;
- Provide remote monitoring interface to achieve remote diagnosis and parameter adjustment;
Through these services, many of our customers have not only achieved standard emissions after using low NOx burners, but also obtained additional benefits such as carbon emission points, energy-saving subsidies, green certification, and government procurement bonus points.

Customizing low-nitrogen solutions is far more than just “changing a burner”
An excellent low-NOx solution requires systematic thinking + experience accumulation + on-site control from technical routes to structural design, installation and commissioning, emission assurance, and energy-saving returns. We use such full-process services to help many customers achieve the transformation from “emission pain points to environmental protection highlights”.
If you are also anxious about NOx compliance, or are preparing to upgrade the technology of boilers/heating furnaces/rotary kilns, please contact us. We will use our expertise and experience to customize the most suitable low-nitrogen combustion solution for you.
